Sailing a tall ship is hard work, but it's an extremely rewarding experience. There's nothing quite like watching the sunset from way up the mast after a trying day of sailing.

Photos taken during the performance of the annual Aliwan Fiesta where dance groups around the country come together to perform for the crowd of Manila. The showcase included floats and queen of Aliwan contest.

Used red chili peppers to texture my shots of local and foreign masks I have collected through the years shot against the prophecy posters - three of which had my lomographs in them. Took this set using the natural light in the kitchen with the lamp turned off.
The entire world had seen much media frenzy of the grand celebration and parties in honor of Her Majesty despite rainfall. June 2, 2012 marked the diamond jubilee for Queen Elizabeth II - ie. 60 years since her accession to the British throne after the death of her father King George VI. After Queen Victoria, she is the second British monarch to have reached this long reign over the United Kingdom and former colonies which are now sovereign states. To join the celebration even if already late, I made these triple interpretations of Warhol's Queen Elizabeth with glowing lights and highway scenes. As they say in the movies about kingdoms, "Long live the Queen!"

This roll of film has some funky textures and color splotches due to a photolab tech's mistake while developing my roll of film. It got jammed into the machine and it steeped in fixer wayyy too long. She also roughed the negatives up a bunch by aggressively. Basically she was not the best lab worker to do the job, but in the end...I actually really liked the mistakes and learned to love it for what they are. I'm thinking of doing this more to film!
