Polaroid Automatic 220

In 2011 I got really excited about the Impossible Project and actually got so excited I became a pioneer and besides giving me a discount code, it also meant I had amassed quite a huge pile of polaroids!!! I hate huge flatbed scanners that need complicated drives and break down and that aren’t actually very good for polaroids cuz they put too much light so I was frustrated about that but I also wanted to share my ’roids so I would try to photograph them with my iPhone which of course was a joke cuz it is impossible not to photo the phone image in the shiny surface of the polaroid ugh!! So I took a break from polaroids and focused on Lomography in 2012…then I got a Diana Instant Back and got the itch to share my ’roids again what was I to do I lamented?!!?
I am also a FAB.com addict it is an online sales mall that have a variety of stuff everyday and a line of portable scanners called Doxie came up for sale and it works like a dream! has built in memory for 600 photos, scans to your computer in jpeg at 600 DPI and the color polaroid tones look exactly like they look on the physical photo and black & white polas scan in color but the computer software has editing to change it to grayscale, ump the contrast etc and the frames scan as well!! Just Brilliant! I highly reccommend!!
