The Blade Runner Bar

I’ve been to Japan this summer, a country where it is very easy to feel lost, confused, impressed, happy and excited, because in Japan, the future was yesterday and the past is still present everywhere!
Walking in Tokyo City, it is probably the most modern city in the world, you will be impressed with the technology, the neon lights, the huge screens, the people’s look, and the street sounds. It’s just like being in a sci-fi movie and when the sunlight starts to go down, some old streets get a weird, lugubrious, and decadent atmosphere like the city in Blade Runner.
This sensation caught us while walking by the Yakitori Street in Shinjuku, Tokyo. This small street is old, full of wires, and dirty but it is where we found this unique bar that we named, The Blade Runner Bar due to its “distinguished style”.
Inside, we had the best time ever, drinking cold beers, eating rice and pork and the most remarkable conversations and laughing with Japanese people.
I hope you enjoyed the pictures.
PS: I used an Ilford HP5 that is more than 10 years expired.
