Qual è l'essenza di un paese? Qual è la sensazione che si ottiene da una terra? Cosa definisce il sapore di una città? Cosa resta impresso nella memoria quando si lascia un certo posto? Cosa c'è di tipicamente olandese ad Amsterdam? Se c'è una cosa che meglio la caratterizza, deve essere senza dubbio, i canali. Il sistema di canali che attraversano la città ricorda il sangue nelle vene e che la fa vivere.

Solo un canale come tutti gli altri - o un luogo di poche pretese dove scattare fotografie sorprendenti? Anche una cittadina sconosciuta come Amersfoort, in Olanda,ha i suoi piccoli e paurosi angoli. Come il vecchio cimitero di Amersfoort, il Rusthof.

Architecture rules volontarly broken make crazy cube houses in Rotterdam. The cube houses (or Kubuswoningen in Dutch) were built in 1984 by architect Piet Blom in Rotterdam and Helmond in the Netherlands. These could have been common houses if they hadn't been turned at 45 degrees and placed on concrete pylons!

For those who like animals, the Artis Zoo in Amsterdam is an amazing place to spend a beautiful day in! You really feel like you're in an oasis of peace at the heart of the city. At Artis Zoo, one can easily relax and only hear the animals living there, which are up to 700 species!
