Oh DigitaLiza 120, You so Fine!

2

When it comes to scanning your 120 negatives, the Digitaliza scanning mask is your best friend. Curly negatives no longer scare me since I got one.

I do my own developing, and since I’m not terribly good at it, my negatives tend to be rather curly. And who has the patience to stick their negatives inside a heavy book for a month to flatten them before scanning? I know I don’t. So I used to struggle getting my negatives into the scanning mask that came with my scanner. Until someone (probably here at lomography.com, you guys are helpful like that) advised me to get myself a DigitaLiza. Well, he was right! The DigitaLiza sure made my scanning life easier. No matter how curly or twisted my negatives are, the DigitaLiza squashes them flat without hassle. Pop them in the DigitaLiza, snap on the magnetic cover, close the lid, remove the magnetic cover, and tadaa! A beautifully flat negative.

Painlessly scanned pictures from twisted negatives.

Another neat feature of the DigitaLiza is that you don’t need to cut your negatives if you don’t want to. You can just slide them throug a handy slit under the cover. So if you’re into the endless panorama thing, or the large numbers of short bits of negative just drive you crazy, fear not! The DigitaLiza saves the day once more.

You can still scan, even if you’ve lost your scissors.
Uncut long negatives.

The DigitaLIZA 35mm Scanning Mask holds your 35mm negatives in place so you can scan them, sprocket holes and all! Be your own boss when it comes to scanning 35mm negatives, giving you ultimate control over your images! Visit the Shop and get your very own DigitaLIZA 35mm Scanning Mask.
