My Review of the Lomography Color Negative 100

3

A bright day requires a film that highlights every color. The Lomography Color Negative 100 has fine grain and crazy tones that give your photos stunning color and exceptional sharpness.

Here are some of my first test shots with a Yashica MAT 124 loaded with Lomography CN 100.

The Lomography CN 100 is a color negative film with very low sensitivity index (ISO 100). It is recommended to use on sunny days or with the aid of a flash to enhance colors. If not shooting under these conditions, the problem can be overcome with the use of cameras with a light meter and the possibility to set the shutter speed and aperture. This is a fine film with natural colors. Thanks to its low sensitivity, the Lomography CN 100 is, in almost all situations, a little like the old Kodak Color Plus which can be used almost always with good results.

I was lucky enough to test the 120 version of this film, and I must say that it is one of my favorite economical negative films. The colors are natural and the contrast is well-balanced. The film also performs very well indoors.

Here are more photos were taken with the Lomography CN 100. I love the grain. It is almost nonexistent in this film due to the low ISO. The detail and sharpness that pops in the images make it one of my favorite films.
