a+

I'd like to propose the terminology 'a+', meaning 'analogue plus digital enhancement'. There's a whole world of creativity to explore in the hybrid space between the two poles of the 'analogue versus digital' debate, and I think delving into that fertile territory is very much in keeping with the Lomographic spirit of experimentation and of pushing boundaries. (Obviously, though, I wouldn't enter these shots in any competition that says photos must be 'not digitally enhanced or manipulated'.)

Nice. A real Lomograph as you can show his experiment. I talked to Wouter about manipulation of analogue pics. We think it's a bigger challenge to do it without tricks. But this manipulation creates new art, it doesn't cheat. So it's ok I think, and it looks very good for me :-)

    Great set.
I think every picture is maipulation.
Even using a wide- or telelens ore filmcrossing.
    Every manipulation shoud be possible.

Successful expiriment I think, amazing art. Using digital manipulations - and telling everybody, so not kidding the people - to create a new form of art widens our views, I believe. Saying we are all analogue is anyway nonsens - we couldn´t share our fotos in the way we do here and elsewhere...

I think it's up to each person to set their boundaries in terms of analogue vs. digital, or digital manipulation. In my opinion, if the original image was shot on film, it is analogue. There is a necessity to convert them to digital in order to share them on this platform. Obviously, enhancements or manipulation can go too far, but art is subjective, and beauty is in the eye of the beholder :)
