Wallpaper in a Burger Shop. NOT a Cyanotype

Inside the now defunct Relish burger joint in St. John's, NL. The blue colour is what comes off the scanner when you tell it you've given it a B&W negative and the film is Fomapan 100R. This was an experiment with using distilled water for a wet mount scan, emulsion side down. I just put a few drops of distilled water on the scanner glass and "rolled" the negative down onto it so that the top of the film stayed dry. It's a bit risky for damage to the neg, but the improvement over a dry scan is massive. (update) I've figured out what's going on with the dark brown film base. This is a reversal-only film, and as well as having a "thicker" emulsion, it has a silver-based anti-halation l ayer that's supposed to get bleached away after the first development stage.
