I have a recollection of reading a news item back in the early 90's that a small town somewhere in the north central USA (somewhere in deepest, darkest Wisconsin??) needed a statue for a park and bought, for weight price in bronze, a huge heroic statue of Felix Edmundovich Dzerzhinsky (hope I spelled it right) by a great Soviet sculptor (forgot name) from somewhere in Ukraine (Kharkov??) and placed it in the park without any indication of who it was, because, generally, it was a really great statue. I tried to Google this and can't find anything...
