Although maybe Mars might look a bit like this it is, of course, not Mars at all but the desert in the middle of Australia, which has the same coloured sand. The polarising filter I used, and possibly the composition of the inner window of the aircraft, which seemed to be made of perspex, made the pictures look blue, and other psychedelic colours, especially toward the horizon, but I've tried to bring out the natural red colour of the sand as much as possible. This is somewhere between Darwin and Adelaide.
