The Memorial Bridge was one of the most amazing, old, beautiful, memory filled draw-bridges in New Hampshire. Sadly, it was deemed "unsafe" in late July of this Summer and was quickly whisked away from us this past week.
I've had taken some of my favorite photos on the middle of this bridge, spent very special moments with some very special people on this bridge, made some of the most important trips possible, and it will be greatly missed.
I borrowed my daughter's camera that she got for her birthday to take this picture. She was upset that I was using her film, but once she saw it, she was happy because she thinks it is the prettiest picture of her ever. That would be a much harder decision in my book... I have a million trillion pictures of her and which is the prettiest is anyone's guess.
Soooo these would have come out better but the aperture spring in my lens is broken and the camera frosted over after 15 minutes. Damn New Hampshire winter.

Sadly I had to leave the ship on Sept 15th. With a dinghy I got dropped off at a pier. At least that way I had the opportunity to take a few nice pictures of the ship. I had an amazing 12 days and I'll definitely be back.
My girlfriend taking photos at the "Enchanted Forest", an abandoned children's amusement park in Hope Valley, RI. I spent many summers there in my youth. Holga 120 CFN with cross processed Fuji T64 tungsten slide film.
Two-faced - that is the best description for our Photo of the Day. Two faces of one yet probably expressing something particular. It sure is interesting and captured in lovely analogue! (POTD 01.16.12)
Walking around the Vienna Prater fairgrounds on a Friday night is rather scary...The place was completely deserted and offered some horryfying women with chopped-off noses and screaming laughing cars and hellcats...A nice place to try out the "B" setting of my Holga, though!
