Photography Exhibition, Dunfermline 2023

In 1968, a famous Scottish photographer, Joseph McKensie, was commissioned to portray Dunfermline as a modern and upcoming Scottish town. McKensie chose instead to focus on his favourite subject matter – poor people and street urchins.
He was finally forgiven with an exhibition in the museum when Dunfermline became a city in 2022.
