The images where taken short after sunset in the Namib-Naukluft National Park. Only around 30 minutes for 36 fames. This was more photo journalism than landscape photography. I especially like the warm colours producted by the tungsten film.

If I compare the world these kids live in with my world it's like beeing on a different planet. But everybody was keen to be photographed - and later on a bit disapointed that the camera had no display to see the photo. Film is not always cool stuff.*gg*
Finally I tried out the great lightpainting tools I have. It was really fun working with them. Althoug I never was sure, how long I should exposue the film, most fotos turned out nicely. This was one of those white days. Everything in the wide land appeared bright and shinning. This beautiful landscape was used to "kill by work" in the nearby concentration camp (http://www.gedenkstaette-esterwegen.de/) during 1933 - 1945. The 15 small camps in the Emsland area where used as early test runs for the "full featured" sites in Auschwitz, Buschenwald or Dachau. So I had this Fuji Internegative duplication film, rated 6 iso and expired since 2004 for some time now in my fridge and didn't really know for what kind of shooting I could use it with such a low iso. And then came the Jupiter3+ lens and it's wide f1.5 aperture, combined with the Hexar RF which handles 6 iso in AE mode and speeds up to 1/4000s: I thought that the combination of this film, lens and camera could bring something interesting together. As the spring is finally I went to shoot some flowers and other stuff, trying to shoot as much as possible at f1.5 to get great blurry backgrounds with bokeh.
