Winged Serviceman

This is the Fleet Air Arm memorial located along the Victoria Embankment (Marine Parade West): Constructed by the Imperial War Graves Commission and unveiled on 20th May 1953 by the Duchess of Kent, it serves as a reminder of some 1,925 military personnel who lost their lives in service and have no grave (I.e.: Lost at sea).
