Killer Kochi (India #18)
condiviso da wil6ka il 2015-11-26A year ago I had the chance to report on the art biennale of kochi in south-west India with the likes of Anish Kapoor, Chris Dercon or Dayanita Singh. I was dwelling in deep swirls and saw star wars like creatures. I long to come back - it was a feast for the senses.... https://vimeo.com/116002737

Searching for Salt (Northkorea #31)
condiviso da wil6ka il 2015-11-25Going outside of Pyongyang was always was exciting. We were asked not to take shots, of what we saw on the road, but it was just too tempting. I think it is probably comparable to China 30 years ago. Lots of hard labour on the field and a certain degree of poverty. We saw the process of making salt - which In the DPRK is collected in designated salt fields - quite interesting. And I was happy to shoot some happy portraits at the nampo dam at the taedong river...

Wherever My Feet May Take Me...
Scritto da ashleyaang il 2012-06-05 inI don't know why but it just seems so incredibly easy to take photos of your feet. It's almost like a default when there's nothing else to take photos of. And luckily, some neat shots can come out of it!
