my first and the last experience with holga.
Went terrible, Although not bad shots.
first time i shot with holga i also fucked up. i switched the counter window on back to position for 4,5*6 instead of 6*6. so my images were also overlapping. i belive it's the same thing that happened here. did you scan it yourself or are they prints from lab?
yes maybe i made a mmistake as well but nevertheless, a camera which eats only 400 iso and gives unstable result is not for me. Film is fucking too expensive))
too bad that you don't have a scanner. i believe once you'd scan them on your own you'd get much better results. in labs they usually use automatic settings and they dont care about results... my first films from holga were crossed Velvias and i got it scanned in a lab. when i got the CD all pics were totally pink and purple. it looked ugly. and i was like: "what the F**K??" then a couple of years later i bought my own scanner and tried to scan those negatives again just out of curiosity. and surprise, surprise - they were perfectly good shots! only somebody in lab didn't care about setting up a scanner or they maybe use some kind of machine or programme which made it crazy purple.
