Canon AE-1 program. I've never taken it of M but I trust the light meter. It goes down to iso 12 so perfect for the film!

a few month ago i got an AE1p too and you are right, the light meter is very good, the camera isn't that sturdy like a Canon FTb or a Minolta SRT, but it is well designed and comfortable, most of the time i use the shutter priority or manual mode.
It is a iso 12 film- the developer that pairs with it is reccomemded and perfect exposure is crutial as it is less forgiving than even color reversal film. But! Results can be spectacular if exposed and developed within it's narrow limits. Congratulations on the camera, it was the camera my grandfather bought for my mother as a newlywed so all my famly album shots were from the ae1. I picked up film when I was given the camera almost four years ago now and really got obsessed 😆
