This is my home - Hammerbrook. An industrial/ office area in the south of hamburg. Often coined Hammerbrooklyn for the similar charme it has to Brooklyn in NYC. The area was evaporated in the end of the second world war by fire bombs, but was rebuilt and has some sort of new identy now. I love the area, at the channel I had some whine in one of the early summer days and in our loft Hyo-Ju is sewing a curtain in our workspace.
Kinshasa is a intense place. Because auf the large extension and it's 12 Million inhabitants that are hustling it is always on. They are talking about the Kinshasa High, a city like a drug. I have been there to film the work of a theatre group.
