I spent most of the last two months working within the northern reaches of West Australia known an area known as the Kimberley. The first time I went up my camera was loaded with black and white film which was a little frustrating as the Kimberley is very colorful at any time of year. I was also very busy most of the time with work, but managed to get in a few shots, normally at the end of the day. So again sunsets and dusk feature big in this series. Most were taken in May, when the humid wet season finishes and the dry season starts. There’s no color filters used here, just the Kimberly sky doing its thing, a vivid cocktail of wet season humidity, smoke from early dry season fires, and a dash of dust.
