LC-A dead batteries

I realized the batteries were gone after i finished this roll, yet some turned out. I had to do a lot of lightening though.

I wondered if it would shoot with dead batteries. I keep about 6-10 of these batteries in all my camera bags since I worry I'll run out in my R4A or LC-A/LC-W when out shooting.

@alienmeatsack how do we know if the batteries almost dead when the film still inside the camera?
it's been a year since I've bought a new lc-a+ with the batteries inside the box. I wonder how long the batteries' age
