If you pour your fixer into the developing tank before your actual developer and agitate a full minute before it dawns on you what you've done, what emerges at the end is a roll of acetate that at first glance looks completely clear. I'm amazed the scanner could get anything at all.

    @richardhall I'm always amazed what is on the film base when everything else is gone away. I've had emulsions come off and there is still a useable image. Pretty cool, and in this case, although frustrating, weirdly artistic. You can get this effect by shaking older fixer before you use it as well! LOL
