Very beautiful, aerochrome can sometimes be so intense that it can easily be the focal point of an image but it’s so delicate in this that the bird becomes the focus. Nicely done, a truly beautiful and elegant image.

@paper_negs Thank you. I was also surprised and would have expected it differently (stronger red). I used an old dense orange filter combined with a UV filter. I find the blue/green dots on the flamingo especially funny (but very cool). No idea what that is. The film was in the camera's magazine for a year (I wanted to be economical); without refrigeration. Maybe it's a fungal infection? The chemistry was also relatively old. And I really like the yellow shift on the Flamingo, too.

@dr_reineke very interesting because I left some in a camera for about the same amount of time and also got blue dots in the highlights, I thought maybe some sort of color shift from being out of the freezer. Didn’t consider fungus, it’s hard to find a lot of info on this film. I believe that the red turns that dark when cross processed, straight processing would give you that red your talking about. I haven’t cross processed any yet but this makes me want to.

@paper_negs I got the idea of the fungus and the dots from the film "Agfa CT Precisa ISO 200". In the example you see small colored dots: www.lomography.de/homes/lalouve/albums/2211957-dotty-sylvan… I am not sure about the cross-processing. I also developed this image like this: www.lomography.de/homes/dr_reineke/24405900 The red tones are clearly more intense. I think it has something to do with the filter or the chemistry. By the way, this photo is from the same film as the flamingo image: www.lomography.de/homes/dr_reineke/photos/25682714?order=tr… ... Questions over questions... :-)

@dr_reineke that really interesting, I was always under the impression that cross processing would bring the dark shade and E6 the bright, filter choice for sure has an impact, I have used red, orange and yellow but all processed E6. I think I’ll shoot a roll this summer and process it with C41 and see what happens. I really love how this film can give unexpected results, it’s always so exciting to shoot.
