    This is a corker mate. Those colours are wonderful, soft pastel shades, lovely. The composition is excellent, the two figures and two black rocks balance perfectly.

    @charliedontsurf The other thing that makes this exceptional is that the two figures and not both sharp. The distant figure being out of focus doesn't pull the eye immediately. You look into the picture from the sharp foreground and gradually move through it. It has depth as well as balance.

    @malcolm_tremain ha ha I'm not sure that anything is in focus. Its that bloody great bazooka of a lens, even if I manage to nail focus through the viewfinder I'm sure that with anything less than 1/1000 second just releasing the shutter sends a seismic shift through the whole rig. I bought a nice new tripod but I don't think its man enough for the job, I need to use something really meaty like an old theodolyte tripod or something! Thanks.
