Self Portrait

Kodak 2383 shot with Nikon N90s and Sigma AF 17-35 zoom lens. Shot at ISO 1.5 and ISO 3. Cross process ( XPro ) developed in Fuji RA-4 developer 1:14 ( 270 ml water, 20 ml RA4 developer and 10 ml 28% hydrogen peroxide ) 20 ml of developer and 10 ml of hydrogen peroxide to get the developer pH to 10.59 ( Kodak ECP 2e developer rate) developed at 100 degrees F for 3 minutes, 40 second stop bath ( 1 liter of water with 80 gm sodium acetate, 30 grams of sodium bisulfate, and 5 grams of sodium metabisulfite ) 1 minute wash, 1 minute copper sulfate bleach (Water .. 400.0 ml, Copper Sulfate . . . 25.0 grams Ammonium Chloride ... 25.0 grams, water to 500ml … pH 3.0) I cannot get this film to like the CD3 in the developer. It really wants its native CD2. This emulsion is so thin that I don't see any tolerances. It loves light but you cant compensate for light with exposure. Weirdly.

Wow, its almost solarised, unless you've drawn a line around your head.

@charliedontsurf this film has such little light latitude. So yes the light coming in the window has blown up the scene and it is almost solarized. So when I sharpened it more than necessary, it drew that line. No matter what I do, I can't get the ight separation. I just tried something else which maybe makes me happier. I think I might have screwed up though because I needed a stop bath and I made one and realized after I made the developer for this roll that I brought the water in the same container I mixed the stop bath in. So there is probably a bit of contamination. But I'm having fun with it. Isn't that the point anyway!?!
