snow in the Rocky Mountains

We didn´t expect it to be real summer up in the Rocks Mountains in May. Nevertheless it was quite surprising as the rain suddenly changed to snowfall while we drove up in Rocky Mountain National Park. Once we reached the top (not literally....all above this point was still closed due to several meters of snow....) we found ourselfes in Winterwonderland. Ok - why not...
