First attempt at #lumen printing.

Been wanting to give this a go for a while, but perhaps December in Scotland isn't the best time to start - was all nice and sunny when I started, but within 15 mins, a big grey cloud appeared!

I used film, rather than paper ( expired 4x5 Shanghai 100 B&W) so presume you probably need less time in the sun than with paper (?!) but could have used a bit more than just 15 mins....such is the weather in Scotland though :)

I just used the fixer I already had mixed up (Ilford Rapid Fix at 1:4 dilution) for about 5 mins, but that was just an experiment....any advice on fixing/toning greatly received!

Scanned with white card behind it (after trying to scan as a neg and barely being able to see anything) and have adjusted the levels ever so slightly, but not much. It was a very faint/delecate image, but maybe next time I try the sun gods will allow a little extra exposure time, and maybe I will have a better idea of what I'm doing, too!
