Bank Malad Idaho, Main Elevation

Slow film and slow development. Kodak 2238 shot at ISO 12. Stand developed for 2 hours in glycin-carbonate (15 grams Sodium sulfite, 60 grams sodium carbonate, 15 grams glycin in 2 liters of water) – stock solution (Lowe’s recipe). Dilute 1:10 for working solution. Water stop, Ilford Hypam 1:4 fix for 6 minutes. Very minimal streaking due to 1:1 sodium sulfite to glycin. Scanned as color and some tinting appears in post production on some prints.

Interesting that you've got a halo effect going on here around the building. I've heard it said that it can appear with stand development, I quite like it especially in portraits.

@charliedontsurf yes I usually am able to get that out. This is one of those times I didn't notice it. There is another shot here that I couldn't level it out to save me so I just made it a feature. Lol

@charliedontsurf I was excited to try this glycin developer. I used it 1:10 for 2 hours, I think it needs to be closer to 1:50. There is a lot of development and a lot of white blow out even though at best the lens was 3.5 or slower. Im going to give it a shot. Maybe shoot the 2238 at 16 or 25 iso? I dunno. Lol
