We were not wearing cowboy boots

On a very cloudy last day of May I took my Lubi to Cowtown to capture some of the old west. A visit to the Fort Worth Stockyards is like stepping back more than 100 years in time . . . well, except for the cars and modern conveniences like air conditioning. There are saloons, haberdasheries, cowboy boot and western wear stores, a steam passenger train and street performers. There's live bull riding (poor bulls!), stables, Billy Bob's arena and bar, and the Stockyards Hotel that has housed guests for over 100 years. I shot this redscale 50-200 at 25 to get more yellow. Hope you enjoy! en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fort_Worth_Stockyards
