In Love with Film: Lomography CN 100

A bright day requires a film that celebrates each color. The Lomography Color Negative 100 has a fine grain and crazy tones that give your photos stunning colour and exceptional sharpness.

The Lomography CN 100 is a color negative film. It has a very low sensitivity index (ISO 100). It is recommended to use on sunny days or with the aid of a flash to enhance and improve colors. This problem can be overcome with the use of machines with a light meter and the possibility to set the shutter speed and aperture. This is a fine film, with natural colours and is faithful. Thanks to the low sensitivity the Lomography CN 100 is a film that is in almost all situations, a little like the old Kodak Color Plus and can be used almost always, with good results.

I was lucky enough to test the 120 film and I must say that is one of my favorite economic negative films. It is easy to find and the colors are natural.

Below you can see some pictures of the first test with with a Yashica MAT 124 loaded using Lomography CN 100.

The colors are natural and the contrast is well balanced.

Under the sun the film performs well. As mentioned earlier, the only flaw of this film is the low sensitivity ISO 100, this means it needs a lot of light, or just use any machine with the ability to set shutter speed and aperture and you’re done:)

In fact with the Yashica MAT 124 and Lomography CN 100, I was able to get moving pictures of my cats while jumping, and the photos are not for nothing.

Even indoors it performs well

I tried to test my Pinhole Camera 6 × 18 and even here with the shutter speed a while longer, I have to say not bad, no?

I love the grain. It is almost non-existent for this film due to low ISO. The detail and sharpness that pops in the images is making it become one of my favorite films.
