   I’ve had Portra do the exact same thing with the streaky vertical lines. Any idea why? Shop suggested stress marks from winding

   @dw-etc hi, how are you? this is a issue that i've been struggling with since few months ago, I process my own film, so i have pretty much control over the stages, looking at the film i did not see the lines, so i discard the film being faulty or the developing being uneven, but this issue repeated through some other films also, i have found that it is my scanner, a plustek 7600i that is causing the lines. I only have this issue when scanning at 3600 or lower dpi with vuescan, when i scan at 7200, even the optical resolution of the scanner isnt 7200, it makes some kind of rescaling that evens out the lines, so i have found a temporarly fix for it, only thing it that it takes ages to scan an entire roll of 36exp.
   Hope this helps, make sure to see if the lines are on the film or only the scan, if they correspond to the sproket holes or not, every detail matters.
