Carnival Sunday

Images taken on Carnival Sunday with an Agfa Box 44 from the late 1930s. On a 120 roll, this camera takes only 8 images. That isn’t a lot so I took some double exposures. I like the way they came out!

Great outcome. I have such a Box as well, but was not that lucky to get such results.

@rolfmg Thank you :) it’s all a bit of a gamble, especially since the tiny viewfinders give only a very rough idea what image you’ll get (I think their thin metal mirrors are also easily bent to the side, making it truly impossible to compose for a straight line). The two last images on my roll came out totally blurry and quite boring, they were long exposures and it seems quite hard to push that exposure slider twice without moving the box a lot. Makes sense to add a tripod mount, or some form of cable release. Do you have any other boxes, or just the one? Cheers!
