Got a new toy: The Yashica Samurai x3.0, a fully automatic SLR half frame camera. Very easy to use, but in the end the results are not as good as I hoped... maybe I did something wrong in the way I developed the film (developed in D-76)? Any advices for a good h-alf-frame-film-developer-combination are welcome!

Here I have a question, I see that you use half frame camera so I wonder whether you alone scan your negatives or you give them to a laboratory to be scanned and whether the scanner normally recognize such negative or scanner must be adjusted specially that he could recognize these negative? Thank you!

Hi there! I'm using a Canon 9000f MarkII with the enclosed Software "Scan-Gear". It recognizes the negatives or - in case of half frame pictures - I can set the scan-range by myself. It's very simple with Scan-Gear. The Quality gets even better by using Silverfast.
Yesterday I gave a Colorfilm to our local drugstore. So in a couple of days I can answer your questions more closely.
