Air Forces Memorial, Runnymede

This amazing memorial was unveiled by Queen Elizabeth II in 1953, and serves to commemorate the lives of 20,546 men and women who were lost in air service in the Second World War, whose names are engraved in its walls. On a blazing hot July day, alone in its grey stone, it's a solitary and very poignant place to be. The Auto Chinon 55/1.4 lens and AGFA APX100 served it well.
