   @mafiosa @ishifishy I just discovered my scanner is actually defect,broken, kaputski. Now I get pictures where one half is crazy and weird and the other half is normal.

   Did you try uninstalling and reinstalling? That's fixed some issue with Vuescan in the past. Try using different software? I hope you don't have to bury your scanner!
