Darkroom at Night ...

Expired 1990s Svema LN-9 tungsten balanced film. Still trying to find some colors that might pop. I developed this in C41 developer constant agitation for 5 mintues, Intermediate developer (Sodium Metabisulfite 2gm, C41 developer 30ml, .01% Potassium Iodide solution 6ml in 1L water), "svema bleach" (Potassium ferricyanide 30g Potassium bromide 15g Potassium phosphate, monobasic 17g Water to make 1 L) Critical that the pH is lower - around 6.0. Fixed in Kodak F5 fixer (Water (140F) 600 ml Sod. Thiosulfate 240 g Sod. Sulphite 15 g Acetic Acid (28%) 48 ml Boric Acid (crystal) 7.5 g Pot. Alum 15 g Water to make 1 L) The negatives came out much more clear this time which feels good, but the colors are still muted. Shot all at ISO 6. Is possible that they are underexposed and that is muting the colors, or these ARE the colors.... which is fine. I'll take this on the road I think and shoot some at ISO 6 + 1 stop. Of course all of this is done in a nonnative color agent if we could make this sing a bit more in C41 that would be nice.
