(come from away: stop the world) It was august, very hot days here in Sicily. My boyfriend and I live in different cities, he was in my country to spend his holidays. We decided to go to “Isola Lunga”, a private island with salterns and abandoned industrial buildings. This island is located in the lagoon of Marsala (called “stagnone”) and its peculiarity is the pink water of the salterns, color given by a seaweed. To reach the island you can cross the sea by foot ‘cause the water level is very low. When we was leaving the island the sun had just set, we were walking through the stagnone and decided to stop and take some pictures, even if the water surrounded us. On the horizon we could admire the silhouettes of the Aegadian Islands (to which I am so attached 'cause I spent several holidays there with my family). My boyfriend and I, in the middle of the sea, wind through my hair, small waves traveling in our direction, Aegadian islands. It’s hard to describe and no picture can really explain how we felt, time stopped and my mind too, all my bad thoughts disappeared. With this photo we can always live that moment.
this roll is really a surprise package! the senisa is expired in 1999. i still have about 50 rolls of this and already shot some of them but didn´t get such weird results. one shot is very grainy and looks like being from the 50s. others came out greenish. others seem to be normal - considering the very difficult light conditions with the snowstorm. i admit that 2 or 3 shot here that are greenish came out that way because of the scan-frame. the software chose the wrong frame and that made them green - i guess due to the software measuring light. almost no shot looking like the other. btw: the nightshots from yesterdays album are from the same roll. but maybe it´s really only the light though because the lubitel shots that i uploaded last week have about the same style.
I am absolutely in love with my Horizon! Tungsten works great in this camera, however I overexposed them on accident by just a tad. I still like the results though. It also seems that I didn't load the film quite correctly, as there is a tunnel vision effect on the left side of the film, haha.
I only really tend to bring my Horizon along when I go to particularly pretty spots. These were taken over August.

As some of you may know, my sister Anna makes bijoux and also beautiful silk scarfs, which she dyes with herbs and flowers (she uses only natural materials, no chemicals at all). Some time ago she got acquainted with a knitwear designer (whose name is also Anna) and they decided to make some kind of a collaboration. And these are the photos i took during a sunny warm October day to illustrate the project.
right place right time... walking down the beach one evening when a crazy storm rolled in and a airforce acrobatic display erupted across the sky... my horizon was loaded with some expired kodak 160t that the awesome @trw gave me, the dark and stormy nature of the film goes spot on with the rad display in the sky

After many, many months of travelling at light speed aboard my spaceship – called 'Lomo X-1' – I finally made it to the nearest galaxy, Andromeda, and touched down carefully upon a planet that I soon learned was called 'Guildford'. This is the photographic journal of my brief visit to that weird but wonderful, and very welcoming, little planet.
Yoscolmi and I got the perfekt around the same time, and we have decided to do a 1st roll perfekt shoot off! The concept is, we both shoot the first roll, and unlock the album at the same time. The person who get the most liked picture after a week is the winner! and the loser has to buy the winner a lunch when we meet someday in the future!!! So com'on, people! Let's see who the winner is! Check our yoscolmi's 1st perfekt album in his home, too! (Just to be fair:p)
