Some Historical Sites in Triunfo/RS, Brazil

The city of Triunfo is one of the oldest cities in the state of Rio Grande do Sul, having some interesting buildings dating from de 18th century, which includes the town's church. It was a quiet, almost eerie (if sunny) Sunday when I shot this photos, and I think this atmosphere defines the zeitgeist of this place. The boat ride, that cruises the Jacuí river that separates Triunfo from São Jerônimo, from where I departed, is also a nice touch to this walkabout.
