“Vernissage in Izmailovo” is the largest, world-renowned exhibition-fair of products and objects of artistic and applied art, created in the late 1980s for artists, designers, craftsmen, handicraftsmen, public creative organizations, unions, artisanal crafts and other craftsmen with the support of the Government of Moscow. Street Projected passage 890 in 2013 was named Vernissage in honor of “Vernissage to Izmailovo”.
There is the “Artists Alley”, where more than 100 artists exhibit their works, among which are honored artists of the Russian Federation, as well as replaced in Moscow and the world, thanks to tourist guides and media, Flea and Antique markets, with a warm and cultural atmosphere.
Vintage jewelry, laces, books, plates, ceramics, porcelain, rare furniture - these are just a small part of what the famous Flea Market on the Vernissage in Izmailovo is rich with.
Endless colorful rows with military uniforms and accessories of the past and before last centuries, dresses, kerosene lamps, dishes, silverware, toys, samovars, irons, antique frames and many other interesting things - these are the epochs that open before the eyes of every visitor to the history.
The flea market is located on the 2nd level of the Vernissage in Izmailovo. It is easy enough to find it - walking along the bottom rows to reach the stairs and go up to the second floor. Any vendor at the Opening Day will eagerly tell you the way.
