    One trick with scale-focusing cameras (the LCA doesn't have a rangefinder) is that the distances are usually measured from the film plane, not the front of the camera. I have no idea whether this is true of the LCA 120, but it might account for the missed focus.
    Rangefinders have two windows. A swinging mirror behind one of them moves as you focus, and you simply align the two images you see of your subject. If it's in adjustment, a rangefinder is very accurate.

    @aeroektar well that was just a mistake in the translation ^_^ My photography is a matter of seconds, I will not take a scaling band to measure the distance. I just go by intuition. And that's when one tends to go too close, when in motion...
