Palacio de Bellas Artes

Aquí están mis mejores Holgas. Here there are my best Holgas. This is one of my favourite pictures. A total serendipity. I was trying to capture those sticky figurines stucked to the wall. The street was crowded, so I shot over my head. Of course I wasn't using the viewfinder (since then I rarely use the viewfinder of the Holga) and wasn't aware of the neat reflection of the Palacio de Bellas Artes (Palace of Belle Arts) on the wall. Imagine my surprise when the roll was printed. Then I submitted the image to the Holga Book competition. This was the first time one of my images was printed on a book. #mexico
