the Sisters of Pyongyang (Northkorea #63)

I can't help it, but I am a big fan of neo-socialist architecture and art - unregarding the political implications, it is bold and epic - like an extravagant telenovela. On my trip to North Korea I liked in particular the gate/monument of the two sisters that is foreshadowing an unification of the two koreas in the future.
