The Remains of the Lydden Spout Gun Battery

During the early years of WW2, there was a massive building program of coastal defence contruction all round the British Isles. Much of this was concentrated in Kent. The Lydden Mk VII 6" naval guns on Mk V mounts are long gone, but you still see the cook house and mess blocks
