Potrait of Mao the cat

Second print, here I dialed in some filtration, i think about 50 m and 50 y, and made new test strips. As can be seen, the filtration is still off, but now I was able to spot the approximate exposure. Filtration varies with exposure, so it is smart to first nail the exposure, before adjusting the colors. ------------------------Decided to spend an evening in the darkroom practicing RA4-wetprinting. I have some old paper, fuji crystal archive. Unfortunately, its slightly agefogged, the base paper is slighly pink-yellow (as can be seen, I didnt correct the white balance from the scanner). Anyway its still of great use for practicing skills. On my last trip in february, I only took one color film roll, normal (but expired) c41. It came out very well from development, so it as not too complicated to work with. RA4 is about finding exposure, and filtration, and then any doding or burning. Unfortunately I dont know of any way to fix contrast - RA4 paper has one contrast only, and the paper one gets now is fairly contrasty since it is intended for digital lightjet exposure.
