After shooting a roll, take it into a dark room and open the film. Then sprinkle hot water filled with baking soda all around on the film, with flicking my fingers. Rewind it and put into a pan and pour water, and boiled it for about 5 minutes. Rinse and dry, and cross-deveop it. Done!

Two-faced - that is the best description for our Photo of the Day. Two faces of one yet probably expressing something particular. It sure is interesting and captured in lovely analogue! (POTD 01.16.12)
When I took my Velvia 100 to the lab, they gave me a CD with negative images. First, I turned then positive with PhotoFiltre; after that, I got a new CD from the lab. The darker images are the ones the lab did.
I think anyone who comes from a big family craves isolation, be it having the house to yourself or sitting on a mountain top on the other side of the world.
I need isolation to think, to cry, to explode, to create, to breathe and above all ...to want to have company.

Dippemess is a tradition which dates back to the 14th century. At that time, the Maamess, as it was then called, was a medieval market for domestic articles. Potters from the Westerwald, Kannebäckerland and Urberach came here to sell their wares, especially their ceramic bowls and pots. These were known in the Frankfurt dialect as 'Dippe' from which the event soon took its name. Over the years, more and more fairground booths and popular attractions joined the market as well.
The Dippemess today is Frankfurt’s largest fair and a lot of fun :)
This was supposed to be a Super Sampler/ Sprocket Rocket doubles roll but it seems to have gotten divied up into two parts. Mostly SRocket on one end and mostly SSampler on the other. The SSampler has had the dividers taken out so the images blur together and when I use it to shoot static objects or scenes it is always twisting and turning in my hand.
Playing around with redscale film & various exposure settings... All random shots. Some shots were okay, some were pretty bad; but it was all fun! I will definitely play around with this kind of film again in the future :)
