It took me quite a while to understand what really is the appeal of Shibuya? The first time I set foot on that place, all I could do was humming Jim Croce’s “New York’s Not My Home” inside my mind; “…though all the streets are crowded, there’s something strange about it.” But after a while, I started to see what my camera sees. The little corners that once was drowned in the sea of people started to appear. The speck of light on the building across, the tiny magazine stand, the signs above my head dancing together with the traffic lights. Everything was like… magic.

After a looooong period of absence today I'd love to share some analog double exposures with you, shot on an expired & belladonna-souped Kodak E200. I used a Canon T50 & an Exakta HS-10 for these frames and shot the film in Germany and Bulgaria. Stay tuned for some more pics I will unveil soon :)
I shot this photo using Ilfocolor Retro 400 35mm film that I harvested from an ILFORD ILFOCOLOR RAPID RETRO disposable camera. <a href="https://ilford.com/product/rapid-retro-camera/" rel="noreferrer nofollow">ilford.com/product/rapid-retro-camera/</a> This was my first time using this film. I decided to pull it from the single-use camera and load it into my Canon EOS 1 SLR so that I would have complete control over the exposure settings. I'm very impressed with the results. This is unique colour film and it's capable of reproducing bright, bold and warm colours with just the right amount of grain. I does have a retro look to it, it reminds me of the 80's. Canon EOS 1 SLR with Ilfocolour Retro 400 35mm film. Home developed with Cinestill CS-41 C-41 developer. Epson V-850 scan. You can see my full review of this film on my website www.markklotz.com
It was not a very successful experience with this camera, at times it malfunctioned, which is why several frames were not captured, and as it turned out after the development, the camera's focus is bad, out of 24 frames we got only 10, which I more or less liked..
My first test photos on film. The process is very exciting, especially intriguing that you do not immediately see the resulting frame and are looking forward to the development.
I bought for a ridiculous price a batch of 10 expired Kodacolor Golds from 1992, I tested one at ISO 25 with my Olympus Trip, and this is what it gave. Well, ok, the cat didn't often sit still and pose; so it's mostly blurry, but it's still cool photos.
