I'm Katherine, and I started shooting film in high school when my grandpa, who was an amateur photographer, passed away, and his children found his camera collection. The family gave them to me, and I started tinkering with them. I am a mostly self-taught photographer, though I took a few photography classes at a renowned photography school near me. I can develop black-and-white film in a darkroom, but I'm not very good at it, so I prefer to have my film developed professionally at the only place in town that does it. The lab is run by Chris, a friendly old hippie who knows everything about vintage cameras and hates my Holga, but kindly develops my 120 film anyway. Photography is my hobby, nothing more, nothing less.
