Hello everyone! My name is Rita, and I’m from Minsk, Belarus.
I’ve been shooting film since 2019, exploring different cameras, films, and the balance between form and content. And it feels like this experiment will never end - I truly hope it never does.
These days, I mostly shoot on 120 film. I’ve also mastered almost all the home-developing processes (B&W, C-41, E-6) and scan my films myself.
A turning point in my work was my very first encounter with the magic of the darkroom. Hand printing completely changed my approach to photography and how I see the frame. It’s something I keep learning with great love every day, while exploring the world around me.
Silence and gentle melancholy, nostalgia and hope - these are what I’m slowly searching for through the viewfinder of my camera
