Since color films are reaching stratospheric prices, I became interested in Kodak Vision 3 films, which several sites offer under rebadged names. If you look carefully, you can find some at very attractive prices - but does the quality match? I tested the Vison 3 250D, which has an ISO of 200, with my Zorki 6, a demanding camera, and honestly, I give it a go.
Shooting in the abandoned stone-pit with my beautiful friend and some yellow flowers. Using my Mamiya 645J and its 80mm 2.8 and the 55mm 2.8. Shot on some Portra 400, scanned at home.
my local camera shop had a scanner issue and they’re WEEKS behind on developing. Still love them, and have dropped off several rolls a week for the last month from various fall adventures. This is from a month ago, stoked to catch up :)
I met up with Hannah a few weeks back and took my Mamiya C3 with me. It seemed fitting since it was the first analog camera I took photos of Hannah with. Some 3 years ago. Since, she has moved to Switzerland but every now and then we reconnect.
Ameyoko is a shopping district, consisting of a few streets under the railway lines south of Ueno Station. They are remains of the black market shops of the post-world war period, replaced by popular shops selling all kinds of stuff, from seafood to liquors, and also vintage clothing, souvenirs, toys, anime & manga paraphernalia, CD's & vinyls. Many bars and food stands are offering tables and chairs on the street, which is quite rare in Tokyo ! All this gives this place a unique friendly and relaxed atmosphere, with loud laughter and lively conversations... Ameyoko is absolutely one of my best memories of Tokyo ! 😎👍🍺 Series to be continued.
