Part of the training climb to conquer Mt. Apo, I went with a group of mountaineers on an overnight bus trip via Nueva Vizcaya to the home of the world famous Ifugao Rice Terraces in Banawe. Our mission was to climb Mt. Amuyao and acclimatize with the cold weather up in its peak. From there we rode a jeepney enroute to our jump-off point in Barlig. We stopped by briefly at a vulcanizing shop overlooking the rice terraces to pump air to the tires. Saw this little girl standing on the side of the road beside a parked old truck from the jeep's window. She's so tiny and cute so I took some snapshots.
