I ran in through on a regular cycle, so kind of hot, BUT I only left it in for 10 or 15 minutes, not the whole cycle and then I left it in rice for quite awhile, like a month or two. Not because it needed a month or two, I just left it there until I used it and I did all that before I shot the roll. I think I fiddled with it every so often to "break it up" from itself so it wasn't too crunchy when I ran it through the camera.
